NGC 4088 ist eine Balkenspiralgalaxie vom Typ SBbc und liegt im Sternbild Großer Bär. Die Galaxie hat eine Winkelausdehnung von 6,0' × 2,3' und eine scheinbare Helligkeit von 10,3 mag; sie wurde am 9. März 1788 von Wilhelm Herschel entdeckt.Entfernung ca. 11,3 Mio.Lichtjahre.
